Our data is compiled from federal sources (CMS Hospital Price Transparency, Hospital Compare, HCAHPS, Cost Reports, IRS 990). Every number on the site is traceable to a primary source. Email for methodology, citation guidance, or custom extracts.

If you work at a hospital and something about your data looks wrong, incomplete, or out of date on our site, we want to hear about it. We don't edit numbers without verification, but we do investigate every reported discrepancy and correct errors where the source data supports it.
